MonstaMovies Filmproduktion is a Berlin-based network of film professionals. Its portfolio contains long-time documentaries, musiclips, commercials, shorts and broadcast. MonstaMovies proves excellent references and reliable way of shooting innovative formats with a flexible cost control. MonstaMovies is now a team of 12 film professionals. Its office in Berlin-Mitte is situated in the centre of Berlin artistic and creative scene. MonstaMovies production "AltlastPalast" (2006) was a successful independent arthouse long documentary that got press attention and was released in several cinema theatres in Berlin.
As an independent production company MonstaMovies produces and co-produces European Arthouse and Mainstream shorts and features for cinema. MonstaMovies has a strong script- and development department which is advised by renommated script consultants (ScriptHouse GmbH&Co.KG). Moreover, our development crew was trained by Masterschool Drehbuch GmbH (Medienboard, Berlin-Brandenburg film commission) and had a feature project supported 2005 by MDM film commission.
The goal of MonstaMovies is the production of unique and appealing for the movie-goers films. Thanks to long-time and well-established networking in Berlin, MonstaMovies is in a position to act as a service-production for many productions in advertising, broadcasting and music video branches.
Alongside with the managing director and producer Irina Enders and producer Lutz Neumann (who is also a line producer) there are more than 12 firm freelancers. In legal matters we cooperate with the Berlin-based law office Hans-Jürgen Homann (attorney at law).
MonstaMovies works increasingly internationally. Thailand, Switzerland and Italy are countires we have already in our portfoio. Founded in present constellation in 2005, MonstaMovies became in only a year the partner for many clients: Markenfilm Berlin GmbH, Heimat agency (advertising), several music labels in Berlin and Switzerland, major TV broadcaster (ZDF, Sat1, 3sat, RTL) and several film production companies (Sabotage films, Crocusfilms).
Our documentary "The Old Burden Palace" which is an independent arthouse project about the Berlin arts scene and the political demolition of the Palace of Republic became valuable media resonanse in 2006. MonstaMovies is listed alongside with 24 young German film production companies at TeamWorx First Steps initiative.
